The actor who plays bad-boy Sawyer in the series "Lost" almost gave up his acting career. Josh
Holloway has recently revealed that before joining the cast of the
successful series, he had started to really doubt whether he could
break into Hollywood. He confided that he had battled for more than
nine years, with a string of low-paid jobs and minor roles. Tiring
of less than comfortable circumstances, he had even taken the decision
to start retraining for another line of work. If the producers of
"Lost" hadn't taken a shine to the well-built Josh, he would be an
estate agent now. What's more, the actor had actually
received his diploma four days before signing his contract for the
